Home of an ancient civilization where their architecture still stands tall, deep in a tropical region. Seeing these structures in person is much different than seeing them in documentaries or in films. For that reason, I dedicated a collection of photographs to this amazing area.

These photographs were taken from my travel to this lush, tropical land. Mainly in black and white, the dramatic contrast between darks and lights allow these structures to stand out. Chichen Itza is full of history, culture and of course, textures. These images were taken with a simple point-and-shoot camera before my interest in actual photography.
